And somehow I have quite a reputation for being fussy about it - ridiculous! I just don’t like much milk!

Anyway - a mug is always a brilliant present for yourself or anyone else who also loves tea (or, at a push, I suppose coffee drinkers too haha ;)

The mug is important too - the mug you have your tea in really makes a difference to the enjoyment of the tea! OK so hear me out with this - different mugs are ‘right’ for different times of day. Some are just the ticket for that first, all-important cup of the day. Personal preference counts for a lot - some people prefer thin china mugs, and I do get that - I don’t like a thick mug, I must say. And I don’t like a huge mug either - the tea gets too cold!

So my mug designs - these mugs are printed to order by Teemill. There’s no waste and no excess stock - far better for the environment. What’s the mug itself like? I would call these a ‘normal’ mug (sounds vague, but I’ll explain!) - straight shape, standard size, no frills, and a medium thickness - not a thin bone china mug but not a thick chunky one either. It’s a great daytime all-rounder, I’d say - the workhorse of the mug cupboard!

Oh - and they’re dishwasher safe. Ain’t nobody got time for yet more washing up.

My mugs are a retro illustrated range with a splash of sarcasm, designed to highlight the mental and physical load carried by women and mums in the home. They’re humorous designs with a knowing-wink for women everywhere - every single working woman and/or mum will ‘get’ these.

Find them here on my homeware page.

A mum with young kids and babies at home? Her ‘hobbies’ are weightlifting and juggling. All day long.

A woman working from home? We know that working from home means we’ll get a load of washing on, get the dishwasher done, feed the cat, pick up stuff left around the house - working from home never only means paid-job-working.

A busy working mum? Yep we’ll gladly smash a glass ceiling at work - but right after we’ve made the kids’ tea (cos they gotta eat - all the time!)

And the laundry fairy, whose treadmill of washing clothes, sheets, towels etc literally never ends -she’d smash a glass ceiling if only she didn’t have a washing basket in each hand! (I think of this one EVERY time I’m lugging huge baskets of washing to and from bedrooms and the washing machine - which is basically every. single. day.)

I hope you enjoy these - I guarantee they will raise a smile from any woman you know. I send them to the sisterhood with a fist bump and a supportive ‘I get it’.

Treat yourself to a sarcastic cuppa

#mugs #mugdesign #sisterhood #womanhood #mumlife #parentlife #women #womensupportingwomen #womenempoweringwomen #womeninbusiness

How professional photos will have a positive impact on your personal brand and how to defeat those imposter syndrome doubts!
I’ve wanted to do more with my illustrations for ages, and diversifying my products is definitely something I want.
