I\u2019ve wanted to do more<\/em> with my illustrations for ages, and diversifying my products is definitely something I want. I mean there is only so much wall space to fit art prints on, right?!<\/p>

Some clothes designs - not my cup of tea<\/h3>

I felt that illustrations could work for any number of different applications and I love interior homewares like mugs and fabrics, clothing, you name it. When looking at clothes for my children, I often feel that I love a graphic on the clothing but wish they hadn\u2019t put the words on there. Or for my son I often feel that the colours are dull and the graphics aren\u2019t really what I like or he wants - he\u2019s not into football, nor skateboarding, he loves gaming but a lot of gamer clothing isn\u2019t really what either of us like. He loves tabletop gaming like Warhammer<\/u><\/a> and Dungeons & Dragons; he loves mystical sea creatures like Krakens and doesn\u2019t mind a few dinosaurs and sharks here and there.<\/p>

The solution was to come up with my own!<\/p>

So why Teemill?<\/h3>

Teemill<\/u><\/a> provides that solution in a way that brilliantly supports tiny independent businesses like mine. Every order is printed on demand, so minimal wastage and no paying out for loads of stock that I can neither afford nor have space for! They use sustainable, organic cotton and processes designed to complete the circle - so once your t-shirt is finally worn out, you can return it to them for recycling and to rejoin the system again. This minimises clothing sent to landfill and supports circular fashion. Teemill handles all the orders, postage, returns and exchanges which is awesome, plus all their orders are shipped in paper packaging, which I love.<\/p>

Teemill provides all the info needed about sourcing their fabrics and cotton and how they work, and with big name eco brands like Rapanui<\/u><\/a>, BBC Earth<\/u><\/a> and Wildlife Trust<\/u><\/a> using Teemill for their clothing I know it\u2019s a reliable, genuine company.<\/p>

So it was a no-brainer to start doing some designs and set up my Teemill store<\/u><\/a>! It can be accessed easily via my website<\/u><\/a> and my Linktree<\/u><\/a>. I had to think hard (and still do) about what do I really<\/em> want to see on my clothing. Why would someone order from me and not a big name brand, what makes mine different? What am I about, what says \u2018Helen Leslie Illustrator\u2019? I found it easier to think of designs for kids, but also wanted to do adults\u2019 clothing, so I\u2019ve been working hard on that too.<\/p>
